Paul Rusby was appointed Director of Service Providers
within the combined ntl:Telewest organisation in February 2006. His
current responsibilities include the management and development of
the ISP, system integrator, mobile, carrier and wholesale voice
sectors. The Interconnect team also comes under his remit. Working
in the telecommunications industry for 25 years, Paul has gained a
wealth of experience.
Initially working for BT as an apprentice, he progressed to
conduct a variety of management roles in operations, global
marketing, business development and Concert Communications. After
16 years he left BT as the Commercial Director for northern
Europe.
Since joining ntl in 1997, Paul has
held various senior positions, from his initial role establishing
the International and Interconnect organisation, building and
running the ISP sector and leading the ntl Consumer Internet
organisation to achieve the one million broadband subscriber
threshold.
