Who we are

A leading national force in business communications

ntl:Telewest Business, part of the Virgin Media Group, was formed through the merger of the business divisions of ntl Incorporated and Telewest Global, Inc. The merger, one of the largest in UK telecoms' history, means the combined company is part of the second largest fixed line telecommunications company in the UK. The company boasts more than 15 years' experience in delivering communication solutions for private and public sector organisations, and has invested more than £13bn in the largest alternative next generation network in the UK.

Boxout graphicWe believe in bringing the personal touch to everything we do. Whether we’re dealing with small businesses, large enterprises or public sector customers, we want to know what matters to them and how we can go the extra mile to make a real difference to them. That's why we've worked hard to ensure that our staff are able to respond effectively to your individual needs from the moment we're first approached to bid our services, to managing customer projects and to managing the quality of service from then on.

We invest a great deal in their training to professional industry standards - this includes many of our engineers being Cisco certified. See our professional services section to read more about our teams working in areas like project management, solutions & training and service management.

ntl:Telewest Business sales and support teams are located across the UK, in close proximity to our customers, as part of a commitment to deliver superior customer service. Over the years we've maximised our experience by building expert and professional teams who specialise in individual areas - large enterprise, small business, health, emergency services, local government, higher & further education and central government. With such expertise across the spectrum, every IT Manager has someone who understands his situation to turn to.
